This Week's Welcome
After a couple weeks off, we were back at it - but outdoors! We had a pop-up market at the Kitty Cat Lounge this past Saturday π»

Thanks to all the vendors that were a part of it, those that came to shop and see the kitties, those that donated (we ended up with about 100lbs of cat food in the end), those who purchased these fundraising totes, and for KCL letting us setup there!
If you're interested in one of the kitty totes, we have a few more on hand here.
I believe we'll be back in the future... π β Now, we will prepare for our next two LKLD EDGE Halloween-ish markets... (flyers at the bottom of this newsletter)...
I've seen this place for a while, and a couple folks - like photographer Amanda Saleh - have told me to check it out! My daughter is currently into KPop Demon Hunters, so she said I needed to take her there on our next date since it's Korean...

I'll admit, I was a tad confused at first. There are a few options to choose from plus a bar and a tablet to order from on top of a menu?! But... I figured it out.
We chose option 1 (not the soup base) which included unlimited meats and veggies. From the tablet, you can order an array of choices. We ordered about 6 times which consisted of a couple rounds of chicken bulgogi, garlic shrimp, pineapple, zucchini, onions, sliced beef belly, mushrooms, and more!
You cook it at your table, and this reminded me of The Melting Pot but with less constraints! Oh, it's really more like BDs Mongolian Grill (which closed at Lakeside this year), but in your lap (or table)!

I wasn't sure in the beginning cause new places like this can give me anxiety haha, but we ended up really enjoying it... and I am excited to go back! In the end, the flavors were amazing! β Next time I'll be ready! I'm ready now typing this out...

I took a poll last week. One of my long term plans was to find the best ___________ in town. Out of pizza, sushi, coffee, or other, sushi had the most requests!
Over the next month or so, I will be venturing out to discover the best sushi joint in LKLD! Personally, I have two already, so I'm excited and eager to see if I can find better. Any suggestions?β β Until Friday. See you next month.
