πŸ” Soup, πŸŽ…πŸ» SANTACON + Christmas Parade!

This Week's Welcome

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! My wife usually cooks the turkey for the entire family and it was oh so good!

The week seems like a blur now, but we had Thanksgiving and then our "A Sandy Claws Christmas Market" on Saturday! Thanks to the vendors and to those who came out and supported local on Small Business Saturday :)

I also would like to thank more of the sponsors for our Beary Merry Christmas Toy Drive....

If you would like more details, then we did a podcast episode about it!

In this special episode, Roanna from NohAnaCreations stopped by the LKLD | EDGE to speak about the Beary Merry Christmas Toy Drive!

What it is, why it exists, and how you can get involved! Listen below.

Yes! We have filled our target of 20 sponsored kids this year by the deadline above! Thank you so much! BUT - We do have about 14 on the waitlist, so if you are able, and wish to help some kids out this Christmas, then click below ASAP!

The Hungry Games: Las Rosas Colombian Cuisine & Catering

If you've been keeping up, I've shared about Las Rosas a couple of times already. It just happens, I eat lunch from them almost every Monday.

I was convinced this week to try the latest chicken soup… with rice, avocado, yuca, and more!

My conclusion: If I had the money, we’d have her a full-fledged restaurant open this week! Wow!

And I'm not a lamb guy, but my wife loved this special option from this week's menu!

Las Rosas returns to Catapult's outdoor pop-up window on Monday, December 15th from 11am-2pm! You may see me there with a monthly giveaway! Stay tuned! :)

This Week's Welcome Hi! It feels like it's been awhile, aye? Most folks were busy over Christmas and New Years so I paused the newsletter. But we're back! Now, LKLD EDGE lands every Wednesday with the pulse of Polk County β€” then we remind you Friday so you don’t miss the good stuff! So, slight changes are here. Many small businesses are closed on Monday and Tuesday, so I always feel behind, but by Wednesday, flyers and information has usually appeared out in the world so I can share it with...
