My wife, from Love At First Cookie, was invited to be a part of the Central Florida Food Fest this past weekend at Bonnet Springs!

It was a great evening, and we sold many, many, many of our oatmeal cream cookies!

I was unaware that I would know about 95% of the other vendors there! That also I meant that I got to eat dinner from about a dozen of my favorite food businesses haha...

That included my #1 shrimp and grits provider, Our Noire Kitchen! I don't know if anyone can top theirs!

NOW it's time! We have our first outdoor holiday market out at Heritage Park in North Lakeland this Friday evening from 5pm-9pm! Family friendly spooky fun with vendors, food, treats, and shopping! Feel free to wear your costumes, trick-or-treat around the park, paint pumpkins, and come support local!

Then, the next day, we return for an indoor market back at the Black Swan Venue! Vampires or werewolves?! Our Twilight-inspired pop-up market celebrating the series' 20 years! Numerous vendors (featuring special curated items for the occasion), food, treats, shopping, giveaways, and more! We’ll decide who has more fans… Team Edward or Team Jacob! (P.S. If you love Twilight, you're going to be amazed at some of these vendors that are new to me... and you!)

The Hungry Games: Lucky Goat Coffee Co.

I got invited to stop by the brand new Lucky Goat Coffee Co. that opened last Thursday! It's in the shopping strip near South Lakeland's Hobby Lobby and Texas Roadhouse.

I ended up trying a few things while I was there! I approve too! I got the regular drip coffee, the Orchard Spice Latte, and the bacon, egg and cheese croissant from Meraki Bakehouse.

I highly recommend one of the croissants with some black coffee...

Very friendly folks who run and work the place as well! I will be back to try some more goodies...
