This Week's Welcome

Well, our last Friday night market got a bit rained out 🥴 But we were inside, not soaked, and the air was super cold! Thanks to the vendors that came out and the folks that did brave the storms to come eat and shop!

Our next two indoor markets return to Saturdays! We will be back at the Black Swan Venue from 8am-12pm each date.

I highly recommend you come out and support! These next two dates are full to the brim with vendors! Some you know and some I bet you don't. So, come see what amazing goodies are waiting for you! 😁

Small Business Spotlight: Fresh Seats by Sydney

Sydney of “Fresh Seats by Sydney” drops by the LKLD | EDGE to speak all things car seat cleaning and so much more!

Blossoming from a simple idea to replace her part time work, be with her kids, and help her husband not have to work overtime, this homeschooling mama has gone from thought to action in less than a few months!

Sydney cleans car seats to strollers to bassinets with “crunchy mom” approved cleaning products that are safe for your kids! She makes the entire process super easy for you to have what you need cleaned overnight with pickup and delivery options too!

We also discuss the realization that you can build someone else’s dream or your own, starting a business with what you already have, it not being an overnight success, simplifying the user experience, sticking “old school” with business cards and physical calendars, doing it “messy” over doing nothing, being authentic while using chatGPT, and showing your own kids that they can be entrepreneurs too!

The Hungry Games: JJ's Fusion Khaana

I finally made it out to Catapult Lakeland for JJ's Fusion Khaana's pop-up! I believe they're setup there every Friday from 10am-2pm!

I recommend you stop by and grab lunch even if it's to-go 😋 I had to get mine to-go, and we all know how to-go food usually is, right? Not that good by the time you sit down at home or work and eat.

Well, no problem here! This was my first legit time trying all they have and it’s super fresh and filling! We got the Desi Chicken Summer Melt, Samosa, Zesty Sunburst Salad, and of course, the Thanda Iced Chai (which I’ve had before)!

No joke, I’ll be back! Oh, I was given the Mango Sunshine dessert and wow! (Not pictured because I didn't care and ate it all!) I’m not even a fan of mango but woah! Gimme more!
