This Week's Welcome

I'm going to keep this week's welcome quite short but important! This Saturday made up for the past crazy month! The market was our biggest yet! Thank to all the vendors that joined us, and of course, to all the folks who came out and supported local! Thank you very much for making it a busy-busy Saturday :)

Our next indoor market is this coming Saturday! We will be back at the Black Swan Venue from 8am-12pm! This weekend is about 50/50. Half of the vendors you've come to love, and another half that you will love! It's our fullest market to date for businesses, so please come back and check them out 😊

Kidpreneur Spotlight: Ollie (the Artist)

Ollie, our firstborn and artist, drops by the LKLD | EDGE to speak all things art and his future plans!

From when he began drawing to even what he wants to eat on his upcoming birthday, we discuss his beginnings to art lessons to even making money from his own artwork! Out of the mouth of babes, Ollie provides some life lessons for us adults such as it never being too late to do anything and doing what you love! He shares what and who he has drawn, and I let everyone know my favorite drawing he ever did (for me!). We conclude with his future art plans which lean toward video game design and development as well as what YOU can get for $10 million!

The Hungry Games: Fusion&Sabor Kitchen

Oh my goodness! Fusion&Sabor Kitchen caught my eyes in the past couple of weeks since they post quite a lot! (I told y'all other businesses, post more to get noticed! It works!) I've been dying to go, so we went as a family. What a cute little space! They've done great with it! It's a mix of South American and Indian flavors.

These are not my best pictures by any standards, but it doesn't matter. Let my words speak to you...

We wanted to try a variety of items, so we had the pastelitos, empanadas, arepas, two kids had to have French fries 😂 but they were in like bucket size bowls!, and I wanted the chicken roti.

"Have Mercy Miss Percy!" The chicken roti (pictured below) and the beef empanadas! New personal faves! My wife loved the arepa and the pastelito! Even the kids enjoyed it all!

Now, I can't explain what the sauce sides were, but the white one and that mustard looking one were out of this world. I'm actually salivating writing this post 🥴🤣 It was that good!
